Martha's Vineyard: Beautiful Beaches, Family-Friendly Activities, Delectable Dining

From its secluded beaches to the island's charming communities and hamlets, Martha's Vineyard is one of New England's coastal treasures. Hike the wind-swept trails around the Aquinnah Cliffs or climb the Edgartown Lighthouse to enjoy sweeping vistas of neighboring Chappaquiddick Island. If you're on a family adventure, visit the Gothic-designed, pastel-colored cottages in Oak Bluffs or ride the community's famed Flying Horses Carousel. After exploring the island, sit-down to sumptuous seafood dinner of fresh lobster and shellfish while enjoying Menemsha Beach's spectacular sunsets.

FAQs

  • Where do ferries board to get to martha's vineyard?

Two ferry services operate directly between Falmouth and Martha's Vineyard: the Island Queen Ferry and the Falmouth Ferry. Both ferries depart from Falmouth Inner Harbor, approximately one mile from our boutique hotel, and a Martha's Vineyard shuttle operates three blocks away. The Falmouth Ferry connects to Edgartown in Martha's Vineyard, while the Island Queen Ferry transports visitors to Oak Bluffs.
