Special for ArtWeek, Tales of Cape Cod presents an interactive talk with Anthony Amore, security expert, best selling author, and investigator complete with a book signing.  Amore has been the head of security and chief investigator at Boston's Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston since 2015. Every day he goes to work, he sees an empty frame on the wall that used to hold Johannes Vermeer's The Concert, one of 13 paintings stolen from the Gardner on March 18, 1990.  Amore has been on the hunt for those paintings, and as he puts it, in an effort to make the haystack smaller. One day, he vows, he will find the needle! This special lecture will be about that theft and the investigation with its Cape Cod connections. The 7:00 p.m. program will be preceded by a short reception with light appetizers and cash bar at 6:00 p.m. and will take place in a unique, historic, and iconic Cape Cod venue.  This event is $35 in advance and $40 at the door.
