Baking with Berries
The class will start with a tour of the berry patch with Farm Institute gardener, Rebecca Sanders as she discusses fertilizing with seaweed and compost. Then we will harvest and make baked goods based on the berries we picked. We will make scones with our currants, crème fraiche summer cake with the blackberries & blueberries, and buttermilk biscuits for strawberry short cakes!
